One rumor has suggested the iPhone 14 Pro series will start with 256GB of storage - which could ease the sting of a price hike. The non-Pro handsets, meanwhile, would stick with LPDDR4X RAM. According to a recent report, while all handsets will reportedly get 6GB RAM, the Pro models will benefit from faster LPDDR5 memory. The regular iPhone 14 would stick with the A15 from the previous generation. Apple will apparently be making the Pro more appealing by giving it exclusive access to the all-new A16 Bionic processor. Not so this generation, according to the rumors. Whether you buy a $399 2022 iPhone SE or the $1,099 iPhone 13 Pro, you’ll still get the Apple A15 Bionic chip powering things - which is good, as it’s the fastest mobile chip out there. In the past, iPhones have shared the same chipset within generations. We have heard one rumor that Apple could up the refresh rate to 90Hz on the iPhone 14 series, but we're not holding our breath. While still OLED, the panels will apparently cap at 60Hz, making things a bit less smooth and meaning buyers won’t get access to the brand new always-on display mode.

The regular iPhone 14 won’t be getting this, however. In fact, it’s rumored to be improved, with the refresh rate capable of dropping as low as 1Hz, meaning an always-on display is expected for the first time on the two iPhone Pro models. The iPhone 13 Pro series introduced 120Hz refresh rates (or ProMotion as Apple brands it) and this should be returning to the iPhone 14 Pro handsets. iPhone 14 specs: Screen and refresh rateĪlthough the screen sizes may now be the same between the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro series, the tech is set to remain one of the biggest dividing lines between the tiers. We do expect that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be heavier and thicker, owing to a new 48MP and bigger camera bump. The others are harder to guess, thanks to the uncharted territory of the larger regular version and a more complicated camera setup on the Pro models. Weight-wise, we expect this means that the basic iPhone 14 will be similar to the iPhone 13, which tips the scales at 174g or 6.1 ounces. The flipside, unfortunately, is that those who favor the best small phones will have to settle for last year’s iPhone 13 mini instead. In short, Apple seems to be simplifying the lineup: now you don’t need to spend top dollar to get a large panel. So what’s replacing the mini? The anticipated device is the iPhone 14 Max (or possibly iPhone 14 Plus) - a 6.7-inch handset that would match the iPhone 14 Pro Max for screen real estate. You should be able to buy an iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro in that size. The iPhone 12 and 13 mini reportedly sold so poorly that Apple has pulled the plug on an iPhone 14 mini, meaning that the 6.1-inches will be as small as it gets this time around. If the rumors are to be believed, Apple’s experiment with mini iPhones is over. Green, purple, blue, black, white and red

If you wear MAC All That Glitters, Saddle, Mulch, Amber Lights, Woodwinked, Satin Taupe, Wedge or Soft Brown, you’ll love Lilacked for layering.48MP main, 12MP ultrawide, 12MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom My favorite combo is with Lilacked on my lids, and then I mix a bit of MAC Woodwinked and MAC Wedge on the same brush (just swirl the same brush in both pans). I think that Lilacked looks lovely all by itself or with a little liner, but you can also layer it under other eyeshadows. I can put them on in the morning, and they’re still going strong at night. The MAC Pro Longwear Sticks, on the other hand, feel just right, and I can put them exactly where I want, which avoids one of my big struggles with eyeshadow, which is when I put something on my lids and it goes all over the place, and before you know it you’ve got, like, shimmery black eyeshadow from your lash lines up to your eyebrows. I like the consistency and the way it feels, too, because most cream shadow sticks are either super thick and hard to push around on my lids, or they’re too thin and slippery and hard to control. It’s a peachy golden lilac, kind of like if MAC Satin Taupe Eye Shadow had a makeup baby with MAC Woodwinked, and then that baby grew up and got together with NARS Lhasa and popped out another makeup baby… There’s a wide range, but I don’t have anything else quite like Lilacked in my collection. SO MANY brands make their own cream shadows sticks, but MAC’s are some of my favorites, and I like them for a couple of reasons. The Colour Sticks are stick versions of the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pots (ones I love: Constructivist, Soft Ochre and Bare Study). It’s MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Colour Stick in Lilacked, and it’s $22 and part of the permanent line.
