The compact and portable DDJ-SB offers two-channel control and intuitive access to all the bundled Serato DJ Intro’s cues, loops, FX and samples. In addition to the original classic black, DJs can choose from silver, red and blue models – all featuring a pearlescent hairline finish. Seamless control meets effortless style, as Pioneer releases the entry-level DDJ-SB controller for Serato DJ Intro in three vibrant new colours. Nonetheless here’s some words and a cool video:Ĭhoice and control: the entry-level DDJ-SB two-channel controllerįor Serato DJ Intro and Serato DJ is now available in four colours There’s no press release as such, as there’s very little you can say other than “there’s three new colours”. But to add to the monochromatic theme, there’s also a new silver version, which I do find quite fetching.

This time, their entry level DDJ-SB offering gets the spray job, and adds red and blue to the existing black. But Pioneer casually and regularly kick this mantra to the kerb, bust out the swatches, and brings forth rather more chromatically adventurous versions. But it seems pretty clear to me it's a problem with this specific piece of software, not the hardware, since their own lower platform software will work.DJ gear generally sticks pretty rigidly to Henry Ford’s “any colour as long as it’s black” thinking. They told me to reach out to Windows for why the hardware isn't available. for Sound my only options were Digital Audio (S/PDIF) or Line (Pioneer DDJ-SB). I ended up replying back that I followed all the steps from him that I could, but I wasn't able to make the specific changes to Playback and Recording and Communications, as those options either weren't there, or were grayed out. Open your Serato software and try to connect your hardware (this is not always necessary, as with some Windows versions there is no option to set a device in this tab) Select your computer's internal soundcard or microphone as the default Recording deviceĬheck the Communications tab to see if you need to set the internal soundcard as the default device. Select your computer's internal soundcard or speakers as the default Playback device After doing my best to follow their instructions which were: I tried asking official Serato Support, and I got nowhere.

I also tried installing it on a different Windows 10 PC, and am having the same problem.
#PIONEER SERATO DJ SB PRO#
It's just the Pro software that won't work with it. To test it out, I installed DJ Intro and Serato DJ Lite, and both programs work and I can control it with the hardware. This can take up to a minute."Īnd it messes with the audio as it is connecting, something is happening it skips around, but the DDJ-SB never really connects. Then, on the bottom of the Serato software window a yellow prompt periodically comes up "Pioneer DDJ-SB Hardware connecting. The Software itself works fine, and I can hear audio coming out of my PC's speakers and I can manipulate the audio from the program itself.īut when I plug in the Serato DDJ-SB, it never connects to my computer.

I installed Serato DJ Pro on this PC that used to work. I recently upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to 10. I did search a bit here for this exact problem, forgive me if I missed it.
